Senator Binta Masi Garba who represents Adamawa North Senatorial District in the Senate, yesterday narrated how her father set all her belongings on fire after she accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and Savior.

At a thanksgiving service to mark her 50th birthday in Adamawa state, Senator Binta said she had always been a Muslim prior to her conversion to Christianity and that her conversion caused a major rift between herself and her father.
“I gave my life to Christ when I was in primary school. My father was infuriated and he burnt everything I had because of my decision to follow Christ. I suffered so much because of the name of Jesus.

I would have been nothing if not for His grace. The rejected child, because of my faith, has become a cornerstone. I give glory to His name.”
Amongst the dignitaries that attended the thanksgiving service include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi and others.

 Prince Adeyanju Ademola Patrick, popularly known by his stage name Colby Tequila .a.k.aOmonla, is a Nigerian Juju highlife, Gospel singer and songwriter. He graduated from University of Ibadan 2017 where he studied Political Science. He was born in Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria, grew up in Lagos. His from reputable family of seven of which he’s the last born. He got the zeal to sing while in church, after which he largely joined a group called ‘JETAGOS’ Jesus is the Answer Gospel Singer in a far away Ekiti State during his teenage years. After getting into the game, he created a band Called Radical Songster Band and coined a stage name Colby Tequila, which has become a house hold name. In 2009 he dropped much talk about single tagged “Aye Shoro” which received massive airplay on various Nigerian radio and tv stations. His first album titled INNOVATION was released in 2015. He describes his style of music as Modern Juju Gospel.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has again issued warning on tithes.
He spoke at the April edition of the monthly Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp, along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
The cleric said those who still have doubts about tithes should heed his statement.
He advised pastors of the church in attendance to warn their parishioners about the danger of ignoring thithing.

He said:-
Meanwhile, Adeboye had revealed that the fate of Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, was settled before he “won” the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
Adeboye, said God told him that, “the winner will be the loser”.

His words:- “I want to give every one of you pastors an opportunity to repent tonight.
“And then to go back, immediately after this convention, to restitute your ways with your congregation.

“Make it clear to them…Anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven, full stop.
