New Video: Micaiah – Kilode

United States based Nigerian Gospel singer Micaiahofficially release the video for the single “Kiolde (Why),” off the album “Tani t’Oluwa”

“Kilode” expresses the wonders of God’s love that surpasses understanding while answering in rhetoric the reason for His praises. The visuals depict these wonders by making use of very impressive location, props and scenarios. The airplane, the 74 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, the pressmen, the hangar and more, all emphasize the power of God to transform from dunghill to palace.

Micaiah released the beautiful video for the lead song of the album “Tani t’Oluwa” in 2017. The video received rave reviews, playing on major stations across the nation. She followed with the video for the single “Oya Dancia” and the audio titled “Thank You”featuring Gospel sensation Mike Abdul. She has ministered in – well over 50 places around the United States which include singing the Nigerian national anthem at Airhogs Stadium, the African-American Christian Women’s Conference, in Dallas, Texas, RCCG Georgia, North Carolina, Houston, Nigerian Fashion and Beauty Awards, Houston, Texas and more.

“Kilode” was directed by Roy Igbinoba for Roy Films.

Sharing the inspiration behind the soul stirring new single, Toluwanimee shared

“A few months ago I had my baby and after delivery by surgery. I was readmitted because, somehow I had gotten a hospital-acquired disease. According to the doctors if this infection was not treated adequately, the future risk was enormous, and could be fatal.  Aggressive treatment resulted to a side effect and affected my Kidneys, leaving them working less than 25%. 

Faced with the possibility of dealing with life long kidney issues, the possibility of relapse of a deadly infection, high blood pressure, post delivery/surgery symptoms, as well as the demand from a new baby. Once again God showed up and healed me 100%.

Sitting in my living room in the boisterous, beautiful city of Calgary, overwhelmed by the goodness of God I began to sing this phrases

‘I have a reason
‘To praise you Lord
‘I didn’t need a reason
‘But you gave me a season
‘So here, now I’m singing
‘Your praises Lord.’

Fast forward few months later in Abuja, I approached Sunny Pee and we recorded this amazing song.”

The single “The Reason” is coming ahead of the highly anticipated “Go Deeper” debut album.  Toluwanimee had hinted on the release of the album, after the May 2018 release of the Wilz produced AfroPop vibe “WOW”.  A huge part of the reason the album was delayed is what the new single testifies about.  All plans have been set in motion and while the album gets delivered shortly,  be inspired by “The Reason.”

Samuel Ekwo the Executive Director of One Word Entertainment, who hails from Benue State. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ochola John Ekwo on 10th September 1984.

Popularly known as Psalm Ekwo on stage, he is a multi-talented individual, a song writer, recording artist and film maker. He attended one of the biggest film institute in Nigeria, known to be PEFTI, where he qualified as a cinematographer in 2006. He also proceeded to The University of Naftic Ghana where he advanced in Film Production.

He has since worked both as Director of Photography, Production Manager, Editor and as Floor Manager in some big companies in Nigeria, one of which is Ark Resources Entertainment.

Psalm Ekwo, has also produced and directed music videos and movies.

As a gospel singer, he has transversed churches, concerts and different platforms across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and sub-Sahara West Africa ministering healing, delivered  and life to souls.

He’s married to Oluwatoyin Ekwo they are blessed with twin boys, Naphtali and Nathaniel.
