Nigerian gospel artist AkuGod has released a powerful new single titled “Obinigwe”, a soul-lifting track that blends heartfelt worship with rich, contemporary soundscapes. The song, whose title means ” “Father/God in heaven” in Igbo, is a deep expression of gratitude and reverence to God, reflecting the artist’s journey, faith, and calling.

AkuGod’s journey into music began during his early teens in secondary school, where he formed a group called MEC Rhymes with friends Marcus and Christopher. Over the years, his musical influences evolved, but one thing remained constant — his love for soulful, inspiring music that speaks to the heart and spirit.
