Emmanuel Joshua, popularly known as j_voiz. was born and brought up in Ibadan where he grew up under his grand parents watch. his Grandfather, Rev Idowu Annimasaun was formally a juju musician populaly known as the APOLA KING who at the moment is now a born again Christian. he grew up among music lovers and it only encouraged him to do music in his own principled way. And this is why he sings in a different unique style. he heard a lot of people say to him that he do sound like adekunle Gold. Although his a big fan of adekunle Gold and he fancy him alot, he only feel indebted to the mission of the gospel. A special Ministry graced by God’s presence. And by the grace of God j_voiz has written many songs but “shine your light” is the inspired song ordained for this moment. It’s motive is to convict all into inviting the lord to shine His light into the darkest hour.
